Since we created this course, GitLab has updated the name of the default branch for new projects from master to main (see their official update here).

As you go through the course, you will see references to the old name when it comes to merging changes and creating the .gitlab-ci.yml files.

If you're using a new GitLab project, then all the steps will be the same, except you need to replace master with main.

So, anytime we mention or reference master, just replace this with main and all other steps should remain the same.

We plan on updating the content to reflect the new name at some point, and as soon as we do we'll send an email notification to all students.
